Just to keep things separate between the two stations I started another thread. Pastorino is supposed to be on with Bill Riley here after the top of the hour if anyone wants to listen.

Steve said a few interesting things. Sorry, that I am not going to do a better job to represent the interview, but... He did say that they are appealing to US soccer and FIFA to try and get Gregario before the international transfer window opens. Supposedly his old club didn't let him go quite properly and they are going to see if they can get him sooner on a grievance. He talked a bit about Broome, our excellent record with a healthy back line, getting Kamler back to left halfback, and of course promoted Monday's game.

Yeah Gregorio was un-signed by his former club Darlington. I guess they need to release him now.

Eric Wynalda is supposed to be on the Bill Riley show before the end of the hour. This after he did an interview w/ Grant Wahl on Wed. night (sorry, I was in the care and couldn't post when I heard it). They even discussed the return of Zidane and Makele to the French NT. Riles deserves some serious props for his love of soccer.

RCB may be donating one of their custom scarves (which are very nice looking) to give to him. Consequently, he may wear it on one of his broadcasts on FSN. I'm very jealous. Can the Loyalists do something like this as well? Kudos to RCB for beating us to the punch.

I didn't like Riles much when he was on 1160 either. I give him props for broadcasting games, but....

I am getting tired of Monson on 1280, I can't wait until Nissalke comes off of vacation to talk hoops.

Yeah, I heard the call that last night. I sadly can't remember the name of the guy, but he worked the scarf offer quite well into his call. Props to RCB for that work.
