Hymn

That hymn was great last night. I loved the words. Is there any way that we can change the tune though? The Canadian national anthem reminds me of my ex-wife because she was from Canada. :D

Great job cheering last night, btw.

The polish national anthem just didn't have the same umph and rythm. 😉

We need to rework it just a bit, or else fix the melody. We didn't get it quite right.

I guess, but combining my love of Real with my ex-wife is a really bad combination for me. It's like a peanut butter and sardine sandwich. :yucky: I guess I can learn to live with it if I have to.

One thing is that we need to work on getting the melody right because we were off in a few places. Maybe everyone should listen to it a time or two and practice with the words before the next game so we can get it right.

My concern is that it's a "high" song. After about the first 5 minutes of the game, my "high" voice is completely shot. I think the song is great, as are the words, but I just won't be able to really sing it after minute 5. I tried my best at the end of the game, but I was mostly lip sincing. Shame on me, I know.

That is what I wrote it to and it will stay as it is.
Sounds to me like there are issues you have that need to be resolved...
Did you notice the big smiley at the end of my post? Most people see that and realize that it means I wasn't really serious.

It seems to me based on this post and your sig that you are the one with issues that need to be worked out. If you have so many issues with us, why are you even here and why do you stand with us at the games? You guys in the RCB seem to have a huge chip on your shoulder for some unknown reason. I think you really need to get over it. I've tried to be nothing but nice to you guys but always get attitude from you and I can't figure out why. What is it with you guys?

I can't see all the posts in this thread due to how my buddy/ignore list is configured, but I assume the discussion is about the end-of-match song.

Uteanimal worked hard on it with input from others in the Rogue Cavaliers Brigade. It probably will not change (again, I don't know what the specific complaints are for the reason mentioned above) due to discussion in this forum.

I wonder if you'll be able to see this, but even if you can't, you should be able to see my post quoted to see what I originally said about it. If you can't, I'm curious exactly why you naturally assume that it is someone complaining about it.

Sorry if you are offended.
That is my anthem, and I take it personally when someone thinks they have any artistic control over something I did.
Trust me it isn't personal. I would have gone ballistic if anyone had suggested this. Even if you were joking...
😉

I have no problem with you aero.
