Eddie Pope will again be heading to play for the national team. After Sunday's contest with Chicago, the defender will leave to train with the U.S. squad for the upcoming Gold Cup (July 6- 24).

When my mother was pregnant with me they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later they discovered that I had reabsorbed the other fetus. Pope played a great game last night... he really helps out are defense when he is around. That was an awesome tackle he put on Donovan in the second half.
