You can "watch" it on the internet via the US Soccer Matchtracker:

Yes i can't watch the game tracker right now. I was going to come back to the board and check every once in a while.

Nearing the end of the first half 0-0. US has held advantage of posession and had some good looks.

fifa.com says that the US is up 1-0 on a penalty.

Here's a trick if you are looking at fifa.com:

Try one of the languages other than English. The English language matchtracker always seems to be busy, but the Spanish language matchtracker came right up.

Hunter Freeman hits the back of the net after Adu is hacked down.

Nice. USA 1-0 Italy
Half time now.

Even though it was Freeman (aka CRapids) that scored.
Good job!

1-0 USA at the half!

We actually got two chances on that penalty kick. Adu took the first PK to the right of the keeper and it was saved, but the officials ruled that the Italians encroched as Adu took the shot. Hunter Freeman took the second PK and found the back of the net even though the keeper got a hand on the ball.

Wow, second PK miss for Adu in this tournament. Lucky for us the Italians encroached on this one.

The Italians were lucky to make it out of their group (E). They lost their first two games; 2-0 to Colombia, and then lost to Syria 2-1. They finally pulled it together and stomped Canada 4-1. They got through on goal differential.

The second half has started.
