I think that it is entirely fair in the off-topic area.

I know how you feel. I've had some very bad experiences with a particular company (trying to refrain from saying their name) and I have advised everyone I know not to do business with them, even though they're a very established Utah bank. I mean company. Established Utah company.

I wrote to them and complained about their terrible service and they wrote back and tried to fix the problem, so I'm somewhat appeased.

The funny thing is that they said they were using my email in their customer service training. So I felt like they at least took me seriously. I'd still prefer not to do business with them but I'm forced to because of the same sort of thing--mandatory penalty fee that I was NOT told about--if I change things.

Good luck getting things cleared up.

Bear River Mutual is a great auto / fire / home insurance company. I've heard nothing but great things about them.

I don't know, sorry.

You should get Gephardt. I don't know how you feel about that, but he usually resolves issues. You can e-mail him at .

Speaking of great customer service. I only use Enterprise rental cars after the fantastic customer service they gave me. The way they handled my situation they gained a customer for life.

And having the Jolly Green Munchkin.... I rent quite often.

I think he does it more out of principal than the dollar amount. I'm sure everyone would associate with it.... as Chris Rock would say "They F*(#* you in the drive though..."

When I lived in the OC and didn't have a car. I would call Enterprise in Yorba Linda and they would pick me up. One time I had a huge rock come flying up off the 57 freeway and break the windshield. They didn't make me pay for a thing. I love Enterprise too.
