Actually, my wife and I watched Malcolm for the first time on Wednesday. Pretty funny, but weird!

I just barely started watching Gilmore Girls reruns (yeah, I know, I'm behind the times), and I really like it so far. 🙂

I used to watch it, just like I used to watch Smallville, but shows on the WB seem to grow old really fast :p

Is this a thread for current television or all-time TV favorites?

Not trying to ruffle any feathers... however, I love to stimulate debate!

I rarely watch TV anymore... I think that English television ruined my ability to keep food down while watching American telivision.

Sorry folks... I am not un-patriotic but after you have seen quality it is hard to go back to what tripe they have on American TV.

Of course even the beeb has trash on but those shows are usually based on american shows...

And of course we have English television to blame for Big Brother, who wants to be a millionaire, the Weakest link and my number 1 vote for worst television show EVER... American Idol (which is a re-branding of the English "Pop Idol").
Complete Rubbish.

I digress...
If I had to pick favorite current shows my favorites air on BBC America and they are;
1) The Office (arguably the funniest sitcom in history) An american version has been done and it is rubbish!
2) Johnathan Creek (a cool mystery series)
3) The Vice (the coolest cop show)
4) Time Team... an English archaeolgical show that runs on the history channel, re-branded as History Explorer.

ahhh! Quality!

I used to watch EastEnders all the time, until they took it off the air over here.

Frank Butcher was the man.

I was a closet Eastenders fan...
Sundays they do the Omnibus on pay-per-view... but too expensive for my blood...

A&E also shows episodes of Spooks, known as MI-5 over here, not too long after they air in Britain.

I was so pissed when Danny got killed off. 🙁

I have seen the original english version so i am biased... the one episode of the Office I saw.... well the five minutes... of the american version... I absolutely hated...

I like to laugh and Ricky Gervias is one of the most unorthodox comedians but I have been in tears watching him crash blindly through each episode...

Phiwww Mitchell was a good-baddie wuddin he?

I used to love to hate Ricky and Bianca... but Phil's mum has my vote the best ahem... 'witch...' ever!
