It's supposed to be in a nice neighborhood. Since I don't know Denver, that's all I can tell you.

Can you convince my wife too? 😉

Actually, we may try and go, but we'd be bringing our kids - which would be a neat experience for them. However, I'm dreading the long drive (in our own vehicle) with an 8-year old, 6-year old, and 0-year old. :P

I see where you're going with this, but knocking kids out for that long of a trip usually leads to excessive stored-up energy in those same kids when it's time for bed, which leads to very late nights. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but after driving 8 to 10 hours I'm pretty cranky if I can't get to sleep. :P

Are you planning on following the bus during the night? Or are you going earlier during the day? If you follow the bus, the kids will just sleep by themselves, but of course you won't get any sleep. So I guess you just have to figure out if it is worth it for you to not get any sleep to have the kids sleep the whole way there.

I don't think there IS a good solution to this one. Oh wait - plane trip. Oh wait, that costs WAY too much. :P

Downtown Denver seems to have an amusement park, and aquarium, bike trails & several parks.

It looks like kids would have fun there.

It looks like some of the big kids would have fun there.

It's in a neighborhood called LoDo (lower downtown). Whatever that means.
