yuck on the fairpark. everday its sounding more and more like a franklin covey to me, which stinks. doesnt sound like the team is over enthused about it either. are we at the point where we just sit and wait for the team to make a choice now? i hope not, i would like to see some more fighting between cities. please please please let this thing wind up in downtown. 10 blocks away is NOT downtown and just because light rail/commuter rail is going in doesnt assure anything (once again see franklin covey). im not going to say anything more because everything has already been said.

im really excited for the lineup changes tonight. its going to be interesting. change is good.

It's about a half a block away from Trax.

👍

First, I don't think it's as far from Downtown as RES, so I don't think it's really a problem. Someone said that you can actually see the Gateway from there, so it just isn't that far away.

When you add in the fact that it is WORKABLE, which all the other attempts are really not, you get a solution that is not ideal, but is not that far from it.

As far as the lineup changes. I, for one, am getting excited! The more I think about these changes, the more I think, "why didn't we do this to start?" I have a REAL GOOD FEELING about these changes. I think it's going to work. I really believe it's going to click!

Did I mention that I'm getting excited? Of course I don't pretend to be the GURU of soccer, or anything like it, but I do have a good feeling. The more I think about these changes, the more I like them. I'm going to be really embarrassed if it doesn't work out, I think it is going to work out.

I BELIEVE!

New to the board, but glad I found it. I've been looking for a good RSL board.

I personally hate the idea of the stadium being anywhere close to the fairgrounds. It is a crappy area and I think that people would not be as open to going there as they would to an area either downtown or in Murray or Sandy. It's also not a close to downtown as you think. I work in that area and pass it all the time. Not a choice place. I really hope that they can get it downtown.

Lets hope that this new line-up can shake things up a bit and we can put a few in the net. Going as long as we have without a goal is killing me.

Carson is located next to Compton (like in NWA's Straight Outta Compton) and the Galaxy sells lots of tickets.

Yes, but there are probably about 10 million people in LA and they can't get 30,000 of them to show up every week. That's a pretty low percentage. Maybe if the stadium wasn't so close to Compton, they might sell the stadium out every week. I don't think that just because the Galaxy sell 22,000 tickets a game in a bad neighborhood that RSL could say the same thing.
