That's because even sitting on the bench Tigers motor is going 100 miles per hour.

MLS Preview: Los Angeles v. Real Salt Lake
Quote:
Real Salt Lake take a three game losing streak into the Woodshed, where Landon Donovan and company are sure to give them a spanking.

Ellinger might be sending a message to Leo Beenhakker about calling up our Calypso Boys and not playing them.

What does that prove by having Ellinger do that?

If Samuel Goldwyn were still alive, he would say; "If you want to send a message, use a Blackberry."

If Ellinger benches Rojas & Tiger, he can show a bit of displeasure that they had to miss several games just to sit on Trinidad's bench. And if FIFA.com's match report is right, Fitzpatrick did not even dress for the Mexico game.

Portland Timber Brent Rahim played, but RSL players did not.

If other players step up, and if Rojas & Tiger end up as subs; they will not have the first-team experience that will help them when they are with Trinidad.

Of course, if the Galaxy goes Australia-American Samoa on us; we look pretty dumb.

Send a message, Shmend a message! We really need Rojas for this match because Pierce is hurt! Can we really afford to have Behncke start in the back, assuming Ellinger does go to the 4-4-2 as he said in the paper? I'd sure rather see Rojas back there than Harpo.

Even the Galaxy, as much as I hate them, are not THAT classless.

0-0 halftime
LA's got the most of it, 8 shots on goal and RSL with none.
However LA isn't making it happen

And unfortunately, Landon "The Gift" scores.
Of course he out paced Dunny, he was in front of him...
