Larry H Miller's sudden interest in baseball

You lost your Salt Lake privileges. When you gone, you stay gone. Or you be gone.

About half way down.

So Dave Checketts comes back to town, and Larry H Miller all of a sudden becomes a big baseball fan.

"I feel this will be a wonderful effort and enhance the fans' experience in 2005," said Stingers owner Hilary Drammis.

I guess they are realizing they are going to now have some competition for the summertime Utah sports dollar.

It is no secret that Larry "You Know This Guy" H. Miller and Dave "I made the Jazz a success" Checketts don't like each other. Of course Larry suddenly likes baseball... it is his shot at making Checketts looks like a flop. If soccer doesn't succed, Larry can say "I told you 'I' made the Jazz and Dave was just along for the ride." He has been hot under the collar because people recognize that the geniuss behind the Jazz being what they are today is not the same genius behind Larry Miller car empire.

To boys with a lot of $$$ fighting = good for sports in Utah.

Hey it got us an MLS team.

I don't think it will effect our game attendance much. Lets face it, baseball is pretty boring to watch, soccer on the other hand...

Well to be honest, I love watching baseball just as much as soccer! However, the Stingers are a minor league team. I'll be spending my sports money on Real.
