The stadium staff passed out song sheets with the Loyalist chants on them, but we couldn't really hear any of them between the leftover Sammers/FC Dallas fans and the samba band.

We normally look to the drum line and the people nearest to start chants. So if you want to make sure we keep going, stand near the drums. Maybe we should borrow Aurelius' megaphone to let everyone know what we are about to do? That we he can still contribute, even if he "has" to sit with his fiancee.

I made myself a nametag mostly as a joke because everyone I talked to at the England game kept having to play a little game of "What is your name..." and "What is your BigSoccer nick?"

I am actually pretty glad I made it. I would encourage others to do it also. Or get a RSL jersey with your nick on the back.

Loyal1 deserves major props. My favorite was watching his daughter come down to the front row with drinks. And he would only lean over, suck on the straw for a minute, and keep going. It was like a NASCAR pit crew or something. Nice work.

Awesome. I'm impressed.

My daughter was doing the same thing for me. :D I guess we have a lot of pit crews running around.

If only I had kids old enough to constitute a Pit crew.

FWIW, once my wife is able to come to the matches, she'll fit right in.

Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

If only I had kids young enough to still agree to being a pit crew.

The individual yelled back loudly, and rather rudely IMHO, that they were going to stand up the whole game because it was the "Loyalists" section, that it was posted that they could do so, and that since they had "season tickets" they could do whatever the heck they pleased and that if the old man didn't want to stand up he could go somewhere else.

As I recall... isn't it section E32 that is the Loyalists open seating/standing section? E33, just to the south, is not a part of the Loyalist section even though sometimes it un-officially spills over there.

The people behind the 'loyalist' happened to be FC Dallas fans.
Does that change your mind? 😕

If you care to hear the whole story on this one PM me and I will explain.

But in short, that RSL fan is my wife. The guy had been a complete jerk to her the whole game. He insulted her... he insulted my cousins who were with her and is lucky that I was not there. His conduct was completly out of line and uncalled for. But he did what he had hoped and got under my wifes skin and she let him have it. She was still upset about it when I got home at about midnight, after I got all of my obligations for the day wrapped up.

If even half of what my wife told me was truem had been there I would have cold clocked the guy instead of yelling at him.

Does my opinion change because he was a Dallas fan... no. If anyone ever treats my wife or family the way he treated my wife they will be lucky to get off with just a tounge lashing.

Siffice it to say... you should know the whole sittuation before casting any sort of judgment.

😠

Ok now that is out... the fun loving dysko you know it back.

Wow thats tough. Thats too bad no other Loyalist/RSL fan didn't back up Mrs. Dysko or at least try to help her out.

Hopefully we will all know what to do in the future.
