Attendance

Anyone have the faintest idea of how many tickets have been sold? i heard 30,000, and that is absolutely PATHETIC. If it's not at least 42,00 i will be mad.

Not everyone buys their tickets weeks ahead of time.
Some people wait to see what the weather will be.
Some people buy their tickets on the day of the game to avoid shipping/handling charges.
Some people decide at the last second.

It'll sell out. No worries.

Last I heard there were roughly 8,000 tickets left. There were 15,000 who walked up to the U.S. women's friendly two years ago, so you'd think they'll be able to sell out the qualifier.

Kind of disappoiting to not sell out before the day of the game, but it should sell out anyway.

anyone else get their tickets from buying them online? I said I didnt want to pick them up at Will Call instead have them mailed. but I have yet to receive them. Does this mean I have to print up a receipt and stand in the Will Call line?

I talked to a guy from the FO after the game against Chicago and he told me that they had 6000-7000 walk-ups for that game. I'm sure we can get 8000 for this game if we got that many for a regular game against Chicago.

I think so, too. Why do you think 20,000 tickets were sold within weeks, but there are still tickets left 5-6 weeks later?

There may be some very dissapointed people in the walk up crowd when it sells out before they get to the window. It might be interesting to watch. 🙄
