Jazz

Is anyone paying attention to the NBA draft, or all we all consumed by the qualifier?

I have enough room in my life for lots and lots of sports.

I was devastated when we dropped to #6, and I still don't think we will get anything for it. Why would any team want to give up their spot for any package we put together, especially when Charlotte can almost certainly put together a better package since they have better picks.

We don't really have any players we can put in the package either. We won't trade Andrei (rightfully so), and nobody wants the contracts of Okur or Boozer. Bell is a free agent... I guess Giricek might be worth something.

That leaves... Borchardt? I'd rather have a banana cream pie playing the 5 than that sorry excuse for an athlete.

When it's all said and done, we'll be back in the lottery next year. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

I would love to see the Jazz sign the Lithuanian who has been playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

I don't see the Jazz going with 5 rookies, so there will either be some trades or stashing of players in Europe.

Does Utah still have an NBA team? :p

Since RSL hit town I have almost forgotten about that other team...

seriously tho I hope the Jazz do well in the draft and can string a couple of wins together next season.

I don't actually follow them nearly as much as I used to. Once I started coaching jr. high basketball, nearly all of my bball watching time is focused on the college game which I prefer anyway. And of course if there aren't any good games on during the week, I just replays of EPL matches on FSC anyway.

Absolutely following the Jazz and the draft. The team has never been in this position, having a rare high draft pick (although not high enough 🙁 ), but being a sports fan is like loving your family. You don't have a finite amount of love to go around, neither do I have a finite amount of fandom in me. However, my interest in the NBA is dramatically down, but my support for the Jazz is still strong.

Gotta support the hometown team. Gosh I love sports.
