Wambach, Boxx to visit Utah?

If we could have kept the Atom Bomb technology as secret as the Utah Spiders have kept their existence, the Cold War would have been over in 1946.

But the always-entertaining Dan Loney has reported that Abby Wambach & Shannon Boxx have joined a WPSL team.

So I surf over to the WPSL web site, and I find that Wombat & Company are headed up here on July 9, to play the Spiders.

Then, wpsl.info has even more Comedy Gold! The Spiders have a home game scheduled for 1 PM on the day of the double header; on the toasty warm Juan Diego Field Turf.

"Soccer must be the most popular sport in the North America. Look at all the idiots running it, and it still has not died yet." I think that Tony Waiters said that.

Fight the powers that be!

Do you guys have W-League in Utah? Its the womens league in USL.
Here in Central Florida, we have the Central Florida Krush, who among others, has USWNT member Heather Mitts on the team.

The Utah Spiders are recreating the "Blitzz Rave". They play their home games at the U of U, Juan Diego High School and I think a couple of other places.

They don't have any national teamers, so far I as know, but I don't follow the women's game that much.
