You can tell they really don't approve of public funding but they did sound a bit softer on the whole idea... meaning they were not just dismissing it and laughing about it like they have in the past.

Yeah, except for they said that the stadium would take up, like, the whole fairpark and that the fair would be no more, which is definitely not the impression I got from this morning's Tribune.

It's not Trax, but the 50 & the 119 buses run by there pretty late.

Sadly, I think you and I might be the only two people who would actually deign to take the bus.

Most people I know are horrified when I tell them I'm taking the bus somewhere. This is the conversation I usually have with my friends:

Me: "Okay, I'll take the bus over after work."
Them: (gulp) "What's wrong with your car?"
Me: "Nothing. I took the bus/train to work today."
Silence.

.

I noticed that a couple of fans at the first game had the best idea on how to get to Rice Eccles.

There were a few bikes locked up on the fence over by the Bouncy House.

Or did those bikes belong to players making minimum salary?

Hey, a Fairgrounds stadium will be next to the Jordan River trail!

Could we change the name of the supporters' group from "The Loyalists" to "The Carnies"?

I think a lot more fans will take TRAX (and lots of them are riding to RES) than will ride a bus. I've never had any problem with taking a bus/train when it is convenient.
