Jason Kreis stalking...

My dad just called me from his work, and Jason Kreis is in the store right now. He's going to get him to sign his apron :D

I told him to tell Jason that he's the coolest.

Yes, yes I am a megadork.

I would like to meet any one of the RSL players and just thank them for what they are doing for our community. That is awesome that your dad met Jason Kreis. I've only met a little known basketball player by the name of Karl Malone, a nobody compared to Kreis.

heh, karl malone. met him once, what a nut.

i went to school with 3 of john stocktons kids for 4 years at St. Vincents. jeff hornacek also had his kids attending that school at the time. both of those guys are great. jeff was an amazing guy, one of the nicest i have ever met. john was a little different. he was nice, but really didnt spend a whole lot of time chatting with the people around the school. jeff was incredible. he would talk forever with people around the school. john did coach a couple of the basketball teams there for 3 or 4 years i believe, the teams his kids played on of course. i talked to jeff a couple times and got some signatures. i played a guard/forward at St. Vincents for 4 years and in 7th grade i wore #12. i ended up getting stock to sign that jersey right above the 12. now its hanging framed in my room. man i wish i was a kid again. i cant believe that almost 8 years ago. time flies. i also went the rick majerus basketball camp for 3 years and met the likes of Keith Van Horn, Andre Miller, Michael Doleac, and some other guys. other than that i havent met anybody real famous.

my dad is a jazz nut, hes got this basketball signed by like 30 different guys that have played for the jazz since the early 90's. theres no more room on the ball for people to sign. half our basement is a jazz shrine, its rediculous.

I have a neighbor that was an assistant equipment manager for the Jazz. He has stuff signed by Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippen, Shaq O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, etc. He said that if he's every hurting for money he'll just sell it. I would say he's sitting on a gold mine. He said that he hates to talk to people about NBA players because he knows the players so well and it's like talking about work. I guess that would get kind of boring after a while. He's not with the Jazz any longer, but I would say that was probably a great job while it lasted.

thats awesome.

lets see:
Scotty Pippen: Hate
Shaq O'Neal: HAte
Kobe Bryant:HATe
Michael Jordan: REALLY F#$%ING HATE

lol. and yes i was at THAT game with THE shot. i have wanted to asassinate both Jordan and that moron ref for a TOTALLLLLYYYY missed call. that was the worst miss call in all of history. amazing how flippin vivid it is in my mind after all these years. i will never ever forget it. and to think, stock hit a beauty of a 3 right before it that put the jazz up by 1 and it will never be remembered because of jordan. man i feel so sorry for john, karl, jeff, and jerry for being so brutally robbed. that was trully a stab in the back for some amazing careers. and no i dont hate or resent karl for going to the lakers to try and earn a ring. its every players right to do so and i know in his heart and every other jazz fans heart that malone was and always will be a jazz player.

kind of something funny, i remember in my calculus class in high school 3 years ago there was a question about decibels and in the question it said that the NBA max decibels allowed in an arena is 95 and during that game the decibal reading hit like 117 or something. it was the loudest decibel reading ever in an NBA game up to that point. i think 125-130 is damaging to the ear drum, i cant remember exactly, i think i missed that physiology class last year when we went over the ear drum. doh.

The supposed "push-off"? No offense, really, but I've seen that replayed from about every angle at about every speed possible and I don't understand what we Jazz fans are all whining about. It's a play that happens 50 times a week in the NBA and never gets called. Russell got burned. He always sucked defending those types of plays, and this was no different.

You want to talk missed calls, talk about the 3-pointers that were totally blown by the referees. Game changing calls.

Of course, if Karl could just hit a couple of free throws, we'd be talking about a championship instead...

My dad actually had a brief conversation with Jason, and he got me a personalized autograph too. Apparently, Jason was really gracious and easy to talk to. 🙂

My dad said that Jason said that there's buzz about a possible sellout this weekend, which would be way, way rad. Jason also said that this whole RSL thing has been way bigger than anyone expected, and my dad said he seemed really excited about the whole thing.

Beyond radness, I must say.

Clarette, you managed to say "rad" about 40 times in one post.
I thought you were a Cali girl? 🙂
