Grass is going down!

Monday May 23 the sodding process of Rice-Eccles starts. Saturday's game will be played on it. The media is already chalking up a loss, because Real can't win on grass. I think it will be great to see the next two games on grass. Two more years, and then it will be a permenant thing! Until then, the sod will be sitting up in Centerville waiting for a stadium. :o

Maybe on my run during lunch this afternoon, I'll run past and see if I can spy on the process.

Die, turf monster, die!

I kinda like the turf monster. What other team has their own monster?

Well, that is true. I still like the Turf Monster though. He's good at tripping up forwards in front of the goal with an absolutely open net. Hopefully, he likes grass just as much as turf.

Two things:
I'm glad we don't us British English: 'sodding'... 😲

and

Our new grass is
going down
going down
going down.
Our new grass is
going down
Chivas stinks.
(to the tune of that one chant...)

Right on, Deuce...

Now I don't have to veer off my usual course in order to spy. 🙂

I will be going back up in a bit to try to get a half field shot and then again, a whole field! I hope I can time it right!

Not that it matters but just for all you ppl with enquiring minds... the first strip went down in front of E32!
