Is it just my warped perception, or could we be looking at extending our current 2 game win streak into a 5 game win streak?

@ Sucky Columbus - Win
Sucky Fire @ home - Win
FC Dallas @ home in front of 35,000+ RSL fans - Win

I'm pretty dang excited for the next few weeks!!!

Things look great, but remember we're on a rollercoaster, and just a week ago we were wondering when we'd turn the season around.

Two wins make a difference, don't they?

Sure we can win all three, and I hope we do. But in terms of making the playoffs, the last two games were much more important. Neither the Crew nor the Fire are in the West, so those are three point games and not six point games. We want as many teams below us in the standing so that we make the playoffs. A win over FCD would be big for us. Hey, I'll take the 3 points any day, but a win in conference just counts for more in the end.

We also want to be in good shape when the U.S. Open Cup starts for us on July 13th. That's a competition we can win this year with some luck and a good run of play. We'll always be in the hunt for a Supporters Shield and MLS Cup if we continue to improve, but I'd like some emphasis on the Open Cup too.

Sam's Army will probably have to stay just so they will be sober enough to drive back to their hotels. 😉

Pardon my ignorance, but who is Sam's Army?

They're the "Loyalists" for the Men's National Team. They travel to games/qualifiers/WC matches.
