That may be the only thing he has to complain about. Coming from a west side sitter, The Loyalists have been in rare form--especially the last two games, you were louder than ever against the goats.

Hi Freedom.

Can you hear the chants from the other side of the stadium? Do you or others around you participate in them? Does the other side need its own contingent of rabid fans? Just curious.

The only thing I saw thrown onto the pitch was streamers. There were some fans behind me that were heckling Cuadros and Begines the entire game. I admit that I did some heckling too. I don't see how he could be upset with the heckling though, it was all in good fun. As for stuff being thrown onto the pitch, yeah, I can see how that would make him mad, but again, I didn't see it happen except for streamers.

Depends on that damn samba band. During SJ, I couldn't hear anything but them.

We try to participate, sometimes is difficult to hear which one is being sung, and by the time we know, you've ended it (yes, we're kinda slow that way). The "ole, ole, ole" chants seem to get everyone around me going more than the others-- I think they know it and because its easy to decipher the words.

The wesside definitely needs its own rabid section, everyone is pretty uptight. The most excitement thus far has been two soccer dads yelling at one another because one was standing and chanting alond with the Loyalists. . . pure entertainment!

From my vantage point I saw a little bouncy soccer ball and one of the "noisemakers" that were passed out before the game thrown on to the northwest corner of the field.

The game before I saw a paper plate tossed on to the same corner, and the game before that was the lighter incident. I know that there is a security guy in the same corner looking at the Loyalists the entire match, but he would do well to focus his attention a little bit further south.

I know that when that crap happened, all of my brothers yelled back at the faceless idiot(s) who did that, and we will call security if I happen to catch a glimpse of who it is. I don't mind that our crowd has a reputation of being a little boisterous (sp?), but I hate the other crap. It's so juvenile.

Mine, too. I didn't even know Waibel was hit by a lighter until I read it here. Public humiliation by pointing at whoever did it and everyone yelling "He did it!" could root out that problem before it gains any momentum.

i know who it was that threw the plate and the soccerball noise maker. i saw both 'kids' throw them. If someone really wants to knwo who it was i can tell you, but i'm not going to put it up on these boards. I'm all for yeeling and creamin from the sands, but i dont need to throw stuff down at players just cause i dont like them or their team.

and yes they were 'kids' from the stands, not us older more mature loyalists 🙂

I'd be more than happy to know who did it, what they look like, etc. Look for me at the next game (red wig, red face paint) and point them out to me and I'll go talk to them. I'll bring my brothers who are also face painters and maybe it'll scare them to not do it.

Was it the same person both times?
