From some other comments I heard, I think you can also forget O'Brien.

Someone else is going. Selolwane, Behnke? Any ideas?

I hope he ends up on the team because I got him to sign my jersey today. That would suck to have him on there if he doesn't end up signing permanently, so hopefully the paper was right when they said he would. I'm still not sure who's place he should take though.

Well, no one really mentioned that along with DJ and Rusty, Dante was waived. To me it seemed that he could have been better on the Senior Roster. 8 GOALS for the reserves???
Wow.

It didn't suprise me. It's not like the Crew were letting him go just for the heck of it. Experience and enough skills to get a look but just not good enough for the MLS anymore.

Actually he was waived because he retired, not because he was not good enough.

At the end of the final 2005 RSL match he reportedly sat and removed his boots and left them in the center of the field. That is a traditional ritual of a player retiring.

Confirmation came in the Salt Lake Tribune when it reported the waiver list it listed Dante Washington as retired.

That's right. Sorry, forgot about the boots thing. Gracias, Deuce.

Ahh, understood. I don't know why, but I'm gonna miss that guy. 🙂
