In any other week, a win like that would have raised RSL off the bottom.

I know, like someone said earlier, this is biased, but give me a break. We beat Dallas and we're still in last?

Chivas beat the Revs which is an equally big win, so they weren't going to change it.

Yes, it was a very strange week, too bad they couldn’t at least see it in their hearts to put us above Chivas 😉

You're right, of course, but if Wahl looked more closely he'd see that the wins are not equivalent. Both the Revs and FCD were somewhat depleted, but the key players missing for Dallas were Vanney and Johnson, and only Vanney has been part of their sustained success this year (Johnson's been out for awhile). In any case, they had a top squad on the field and weren't weakened in any particular area.

The Revs were missing Noonan, Ralston, and Dempsey--basically, their entire attack generating squad. Twellman is lost without them since, like Kreis, he's a poacher. And poachers don't do well if there's nothing to poach. So the sc win over the Revs, only 1-0, doesn't compare to our 3-0 win over a conference opponent.

The sc, of course, lose just about nobody to any national team callups, and in any case had their full team for the Revs.

Wahl has predicted that sc will make the playoffs, and I'm sure that's where some of the bias comes from. They also beat us, and have won two of their last three MLS games, but as noted the Revs were depleted, as were we, and sc lost the third game to a Landonless LA 0-2.
