my man of the match

I thought that many of our great players deserved man of the match honors. I continue to be amazed by rusty peirce and his incredible play, eddie pope played as solid as ever including scoring a goal, and of course mathis' pass was as good as you can get, and kreis' goal was a touch of a master, our wings ran their guts out and our kamler played well too, but my man of the match is Dunseth. I could not believe how solid he played. He was always where he needed to be. He stood up Donovan and Korovski all night. I dont think i saw him get turned once. He was always in the right place to clear the ball. And he kept our backs (especially Nolly) calm and solid in the remaining minutes of the match. I would like to hear your opinions on the subject though.

I picked Eddie Pope. He was his usual rock solid on defense, but also scored the goal that turned the game out way.

Even so, I'd support all the players you mentioned--I have no disagreement with your assessment. It was a total team effort. Maybe I should have picked the whole team as Men of the Match.

And don't forget to send Juliana your vote for MOTM today.
Also, make sure you include your name for her!

I agree with what was said. I already voted for Eddie Pope, because he was great on defense, too, but also got the first goal, which turned the whole team around when they seemed to be fading.

This despite the fact that Jason Kreis is my man, and I really wanted to vote for him.

Thanks for taking this on, Jules. And thanks for including our quotes--I know it makes me want to "sell" my vote a little . . .

I didn't vote for him but he did do a great job. His flying headers were great. It looks like he may be 100% now. I think he played a few games at less than 100%.
