Season ticket goal and soccer stadium Just a couple of questions I thought I'd throw out.
Are there any penalties levied against the franchise if it doesn't reach its season ticket goal? What is the latest with the soccer stadium?

I heard that we are the second best ticket selling franchise. I think that is pretty neato bandito.

Will the fact that we reach 5,000 season tickets make a difference to people when funding for a stadium comes up? Have we satisfied the "Let's wait and see" contingent?

It depends on what you mean by "penalties". MLS and Uncle Dave could always Tampa/Miami us.
And it seems to me that MLS general managers have been turning over more recently. And if you don't sell a lot of tickets, you have to listen to Galaxy and RSL fans sing "What's it like to play in front of a crowd" when you visit Victoria Street or Rice Eccles.
