It sounds like you were near the Samba band. During the Colorado game, they moved around, if I remember correctly.

We do need to have a few breaks in the drumming so we can break out with:

"In your LA home, in your LA home

You look in the trash can for something to eat

You find a dead cat and you think it's a treat

In your LA home."

Oh. You were sitting by me, then... did you see the big green lake creature?

Whatever we do please get it approved with Glenn (Loyal1) because if our whole section does something stupid, he has to pay the price in dealing with the FO.

There weren't a lot of people in my section, but just a few rows up from us there was a group of people who all had drums, cymbals, sticks etc. When they first came in and started their drums up, I thought, Cool! But, when they never stopped except for a couple minutes here and there, I got sick of it. (They even continued banging their drums during half-time, except for about 5 min, during which I was hoping they would stop and I could get the ringing out of my head). I couldn't hear any of the announcers comments, like substitutions etc. Even when the crowd cheered, I could barely hear it.

Now, i'm not trying to be a party pooper, but after 2 hours of constant drum banging, I was getting sick of it. I don't mind if people bring their drums, sticks, or whatever to make noise and be noticed and cheer on the home team. But, please think of those around you! Take a break every little bit so as not to annoy those around you. ( I hope that doesn't come off as being a jerk, I enjoyed my time at the game and like fanatic fans, and just want to cheer on RSL and hear the reaction of the other fans in the stands when there is excitement on the field.)

I understand the feeling up to a point. I was sitting in front Aurelius' end of the Loyalist drum line at the last game. Yes my head hurt from the constant drums, and whistle, and electronic megaphone, but I loved it. That is what creates the atmosphere. I suppose if I hadn't been standing or bouncing while chanting and singing the whole game I may have gotten tired of it as well.
