Maybe Nikki's brother will be as good as he is and RSL can pick him up and field the "Brothers Besagno" kinda like ManWho did with the Brothers Scholes... at least I think at some point they both played for United. I could be wrong!

Here’s some info of when Seattle Sounders were part of the defunct NASL

I knew it was two brothers at least!
Anyway the only reason I even knew that two brothers played on ManU was because I lived in the UK and for some reason ManU players, above all other footy players, have achieved superstar status!

Bigger than Shaq, well not in size, but you know!

Fellow Blitzz Fans. Help me out.

Remember back in the 2002 season at Cottonwood HS, when the Blitzz played host to the Sounders in the US Open Cup. The Sounders had Leighton O'Brien and Brian Ching on that team. Who was the Sounder that stomped the Blitzz player and received his second yellow-red and was sent off. Was that not one Leighton O'Brien?

Wow that picture reveals another thing that I did not know...
I did not know that George Best ever played in the US.
Way Cool! When I lived across the pond Best was hospitalized several times for liver and Kidney problems that were the result of alcohol abuse throughout his life! Too bad that one of the great ones had such a problem.

Makes one wonder what he could have been had he not had such a problem with drink.

Michael Parkinson once said of George Best "The irony is that the only tragedy George Best has to confront is that he will never know how good he could have been."

He apparently played for the smurfquakes as well

I still have a hard time believing that O’Brien was the A-League MVP in 2002. What has happened since then? In MLS matches and even in practice, he doesn’t come across as being that confident.

Except for they were red back in the NASL days. I attended an 'old-timers' game involving some of those players and even got myself the NASL style jersey.

No, Bestie was not there.
